Lane Tech's Men's Lacrosse Team was the first in the city of Chicago in 1998 Lane Tech won its first varsity games in 2001, finishing 6-11 Lane Tech spends its spring breaks serving others. The team has remade yards, worked with Habitat for Humanity, and run a free youth lacrosse clinic. Lane Tech has played out-of-state games in Indiana and Kentucky and has hosted teams from Minnesota and Wisconsin. Lane Tech Lacrosse has produced all-conference players, Illinois lacrosse all-star game representatives, and college lacrosse players at the club and varsity level. Lane Tech earned its first playoff berth in 2006, garnering a 10 seed and losing in the first round. Lane Tech won its first playoff game in 2007 after earning the #4 seed and a first-round bye. |
